Miami Heat out from playoff with Indiana Pacers' win over Washington Wizards

The Miami Heat got eliminated from the playoffs because the Indiana Pacers beat the Washington Wizards. I thought that the Miami Heat had a better chance than this, but the last push to make it in the playoff did not go good for the Heat. The Heat lost three games in a row making it impossible for the Heat to come back and make it in the playoffs. This is going to be the first time since 2007-2008 that the Miami Heat will miss the playoffs. I really hoped that Miami were going to be in the playoff, but now I have to go for another team.

The Heat were helping themselves by beating Orlando Magic and seeing that the Bulls beat the Brooklyn Nets by almost thirty points. This was good news for Miami and all Miami had to do is win the rest of their games. The only chance that the Heat have to make it in the playoffs if the Pacers loss to the Washington Wizards, but sadly that was not the case. Both the Pacers and the Wizards went toe to toe into two overtimes. I'm sad to say that the Pacers won in double overtime, which eliminates the Heat from the playoffs.

My thoughts about the Miami and the team being out is that it is of sad, but the Heat could not make a push towards the end. I thought that the Heat had a good run with all the injuries that the players had this season. The Heat did good with some of their keys players out for the rest of the season with injuries. After the Pacers winning against the Washington Wizard this makes the Heat clinch the tenth spot, making them ineligible for the playoffs. All I have to say is the Heat will come back stronger next year and I hope that all of the Miami Heat players are healthy.

Three teams, including the Miami are in the top seeds to get a good pick in the draft lottery. For some of you guys who don't know what a draft lottery is, it's an annual event that has been happening since 1985. It’s an annual event sponsored by the National Basketball Association. This is for teams that missed the playoffs and get to participate in a lottery process to determine the draft order in the NBA draft. Since Miami is tenth in their conference they get a chance at picking a good spot in their division. Miami still has a chance in being in the playoffs that is if the Nets tie with the Heat. If that happens then they would have to resolve it in a coin toss. All I think that would resolve is the Heat possibly getting the ninth spot.

The Heat played a good season and I have nothing bad to say about the team. I just was hoping that the Heat would a least make it in the playoffs. There is always next year and I know that the players that were injured are going to come back better than ever. I hope that the Heat get good new players to add to their roster and hope that those players have a good impact on the Heat. The Heat are an awesome team and I will never switch to another team.

Duke Won The Championship!

I wanted Kentucky Wildcats to win the Final Four Championship because they were undefeated. The Wildcats went all the way to the final four being 38-0, which is really unheard of. I thought that was crazy and I knew that the Wildcats had the championship in their hands. All the Wildcats had to do was win against the Wisconsin Badgers and then they would be in the championship. I watched the game and I was rooting for the Wildcats to win, but the sad part was that they did not win. The Wildcats lost to the Badgers by seven points. I could not believe my eyes because the Wildcats lost to the Badgers. The Wildcats were out of the final four just like that and from that point I had to which from the Wildcats to Duke.

The Blue Devils played before the Wildcats and I missed the game. I was not really thrilled to watch Duke and Michigan State play anyways. I already knew that Duke would put the Spartans away and that is what happened. The final score was 81 to 61 in favor of Duke. I just caught the highlights on TV and for a moment I was excited, but had to remember that I was going for the Wildcats.

I totally spaced out about the championship game and that it happening on Monday the April 6. The reason why I forgot about the game because I had a meeting until five, so I was expecting to miss it. When I got home from my meeting I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV and there on the TV was the starting of the game. I thought that it was quite a coincidence that it was on when I turned on the TV because I thought I missed the game for sure. I totally spaced out the game that I wanted to watch my other program on TV, but I ended up watching the first half of the Final Four Championship and it was exciting.

The first half was both exciting and thrilling because it was back and forth on the score board. None of the two teams were able to get ahead of each other for more than 6 points. Duke ended up getting into foul trouble early in the game, but I still had faith in them winning the game. As the first half came to a end it was still a close game and both teams were making some crazy shoots. At first it was the Badgers, who were making three's out of no where. Then it was Duke, who started making three's and dunking it too. The first half was exciting for me because I did not watch the second half. The reason why I did not watch the second half of the Final Four Championship because I was really tired and that being said I fell asleep.

I heard from my uncle and friends that the second half was very electrifying. I heard that the Badgers were up by nine point with only two minutes left in the second half. Then all of a sudden Duke hits a three to get things going for Duke. After that three Duke went on a roll and Badgers did not have a change after that. Duke ended up winning the Final Four Championship by five points. I knew that Duke would win and I'm super glad they did.

Can Heat beat LeBron James again?

I personally think that the Heat can win, but it's a matter if all of the players on the Heat are healthy. Of course I'm going to say yes, the Heat will beat LeBron and the Cavaliers because I'm a Heat fan not a Cavaliers fan. I believe that the Heat can win against LeBron and they have proven that already. I have noticed that in the regular season the teams play at a slower rate, but when it comes to the playoffs the teams start to play at a fast rate. To me it seems like in the NBA, they play at a slower rate than in college. That is just in my opinion and how I compare NBA to college.

The Miami Heat players are not so healthy this regular season, but manage to win games. I just saw on the news that Shabazz Napier just had surgery on a sports hernia. I did not even know that he was hurt until I saw the news on my computer. This is a serious loss for the Miami Heat this season because they need Napier in the playoffs. All I have to say to Napier is hope he has a speedy recovery and that we will miss you!

The players that are out right now for the Heat are Shabazz Napier (out for the rest of the season), Udonis Haslem (flu), Chris Bosh (illness), and Josh McRoberts (knee surgery). This is not good for the Heat and I'm really surprised on how much injuries the Heat have. Anyway the Heat are going up against Cleveland today and I don't want to watch the game. I know that the Cleveland Cavaliers want redemption for what happened the last time the two teams played each other. The Heat blow out the Cavaliers by twenty points and I thought that awesome. I'm not trying to brag about the Heat winning against the Cavaliers, but all I have to say is that it was a good game.

Today is the day that the two teams face each other and this might be the sneak peak of what might happen in the playoffs. Since, the Cavaliers are hungry and want redemption for what happen last game, the Heat better bring there a game again and win. I hope all of you know that the Heat and the Cavaliers will be facing each other in the playoffs. I forgot to mention that Wade might not play in today's game. He is questionable, but I know that he will play because he is playing against his home boy LeBron. Wade has averaged 31.5 points in the last two games the two teams have faced each other. To me, that is crazy, but it is expected from Wade.

My thoughts about tonight's game is that it's not going to be a easy one for the Heat. It is also not going to be a easy game for the Cavaliers either I hope. It all depends on who plays for the Heat tonight and weather or not it will be a good game or not. I just hope that this game tonight is close and is not a blow out because that would be boring. I find games that are close are better to watch than games that one team has blown out the other team. My advice for the Heat is guard LeBron and don't let him have easy shots.

Heat Three-Game Win Streak Ends With A Loss To OKC

The Heat were doing awesome the last three games before OKC went and killed there winning streak. OKC have been on a roll and I think it has a lot to do with Russell Westbrook, who has been having an outstanding season. I have to admit though, he did not do it by himself because he had help from his center Enes Kantor, who had a career high of 27 points and 12 rebounds. I thought the Heat would of gave the Thunder a better game than that, but that is how the ball rolls. Overall, the Heat are still in the playoffs and that is all that matters to me.

The Heat are in the 7th seed right now and are looking to take the number 6th seed. The win over the Cleveland Cavaliers moved the Heat up, but if they would have won against OKC than they would have claimed the 6th seed. That of course did not happen and the Heat ended up getting killed by 18 points, which is a lot in NBA. The Heat are now trailing the Milwaukee Bucks by two games for the 6th seed and this might be hard for them to regain. We will have to see what it looks like in the end and who is the better team that is in the 6th seed.

My thoughts about the Heat this season are that the Heat could have played better. I believe in the Heat no matter what the score is. I know that the Heat have lost a few good players over the past couple of months and years, but this means that they have to play harder. I forgot to mention that the Heat had Ray Allen, but Ray Allen choice not to play this year. If Ray Allen were still in the mix then I think the Heat would have had a better record. Those of you who don't know who Ray Allen is, he is a three point king right now and him being back would have helped the Heat.

This game to me was very close and it could have gone either way in the beginning, but OKC held there end and outscored the Heat on rebounds. The key to each game is getting rebounds because you don't want the other team to get there own rebounds. I can't express how important it is to get rebounds and it sometimes determines who wins at the end. In this game the Heat had 40 rebounds and OKC had 52 rebounds. That right there says a lot about the game and who wanted to win more.

I'm not trying to be negative towards the Heat or anything like that. I know the Heat are giving all they got, but I believe they as a team need to give more. I love the Heat and one day I hope to fly to Miami just to watch a Miami Heat play and if they don't win then they don't win. The Heat are doing okay this season and this is like the final push going into the playoffs. The Heat need to step up just a bit more to get a better seed. Lets say the Heat get to the 6th seed and stay there, they will be facing the number 2 seed, which is the Cleveland Cavaliers. That game is going to be hard because LeBron James is going to be playing and other fresh guys who want to win a championship.
