James Ennis was born in Ventura, California on July 1,1990. James grew up in Western Village where he and his five siblings played basketball, soccer, rode bikes and skateboard. Growing up, James and his family moved from home to home. This let to James going to three different schools and his freshman year he spend it alone. I don't know why he spend his freshman year alone, maybe his family was having trouble finding a home to live in and maybe James just stayed with a friend until his family found some where to live. Later on, James and his family finally found a place in Western Village, where James went to graduate Ventura High School in 2009.
Now, that I told you a little about what James Ennis life was while he was growing up let's get some news on why he is in the NBA today. James is 6 foot 7 inches and he plays the small forward stop for the Miami Heat. James was a standout player in College, he went to California State University, Long Beach, and he was a All-American his senior year. In 2011, James signed with Long Beach State, were he got the starting position for two years. Ennis helped lead the 49ers to the Big West Conference regular season and conference titles.
James was selected with the 50th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He was later handed over to the Miami Heat on draft night. In July 2013, he joined the Heat at Summer League. At first the Heat wanted James to play with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League but did not have enough to pay him. James went overseas in order to support his father who was not doing so well.
Later on in James's career, he went to Australia to play basketball. James signed with the Perth Wildcats for 2013-2014 NBL season and his first game he played was a success because he scored 25 points. It was the highest for any player on there debut for any of the Wildcats. He was also named Player of the Month for October averaging 24 points per game. He was also in the top seed for most rebounds in the NBL.
On February 17, 2014, James was charged with attempting to strike a 36ers player. However the chargers were dropped because of false information and this I bet was a huge relive for James Ennis. James played his first finals championship game on March 28, 2014, against the Wollongong Hawks. For his first finals championship he was doing amazing, he scored 25 points and he was also named to the 2014 NBL first team. James re-signed with the Miami Heat for the 2014 Summer League and in July he was signed with the Miami Heat.

Luol Deng
Luol Deng was born April 16, 1985 in Wau, Suda. Deng is a British basketball player who now plays for the Miami Heat. Deng spend most of his professional basketball career with the Chicago Bulls before getting traded to the Heat on July 15,2014. Deng has also played for the Great Britain national basketball team. Deng's poistion that he plays on the court is small forward.
Deng is 6ft 9in and he weights 220 pounds. He went to High School at Blair Acadmey in New Jersey. After going to Blair Acadmey in New Jersey to play high school basketball, he later on went to Duke and played one year there (2003-2004). He entered the draft in 2004, Round 1 and he was the seventh overall pick. He was going to be going to the Phoneix Suns but they tarded him to the Chicago Bulls. Deng played with the Chicago Bulls for ten years before getting traded to the Cavaliers and then the Heat.
Since his birth in Sudan, Deng has lived in Eqypt, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2006, Deng became a British citizen in a ceremony in Croydon, which was called up to play in European competition for the Great Britain team. He first made his debut against Georgia in Pau, and France on August 9, 2007, scroing 19 points. He played with the Great Britain team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, were Deng averaged 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. However, Great Britain did not do so good with a recorded of 1 and 4.
Deng to me I don't really like as a player. He used to play for the Chicago and the Chicago Bulls are the Heat's rivals. This is why I don't like any of the Bulls players, I mean yes, they are good but over the years, it always ends up in either a fight or some kind of argument. Now that Deng is on the Heat I am now slowly begining to like him. Since, Luol Deng has been on the Mami Heat I have not seen him yet, I have only seen pictures of him. I have not seen any of the Miami Heat play yet on Tv and I just get so busy that I don't have to watch tv.
Deng is involved in many charities, one charity that he supports is the UK children's charity School Home Support. Deng has been reconized for his hard work towards all the charities that he puts his own time into. I think being part of a group that helps kids and other people in the world is so amazing. One charity that he has also been reconized for his hard work to is the Lost Boys of Sudan. In 2009, Deng was one of the first batch of inductees into London Youth Games Hall of Fame. Deng finally passed these's year made his way back to his home town in Sudan.

Norris Cole
Over the past years I have not really seen Norris Cole play that much. I mean, I have watched him play, but to me it just seems like he does not get that much playing time. Now that Lebron James left maybe Norris Cole will get more playing time, you never know what can happen. That is if he is healthy and all of teammates are healthy as well. I really do want to see more playing time out of Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers because the Heat are going to need them this year.
Cole was the star for Cleveland State in the NCAA's Horizon League who became a key member of the Miami Heat, winning an NBA Championship in his first season with the Miami Heat. He became the first Horizon League player to win both Conference Player of the year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. He also got named the Rising Stars competition during the 2011 season. Last year, Cole has played more games than Mario Chalmers and I did not even know that. I thought the whole time he was not getting that much playing time.
Cole is the back up point guard, and the starting point guard is Mario Chalmers. Even though Cole got drafted from the Bulls to the Timberwolves, then finally got drafted to the Heat. For me getting drafted and having to get traded to one team after another has to not feel to good. During Training camp a couple of years ago, Cole impressed his coaches and all of his teammates. If you can impress your coaches during training camp than you must be good.
I think that Cole is a under rated star in the NBA and I think he needs more recognition. I don't like when players work so hard in the NBA but don't get recognized for there hard work. I hope this coming year he gets more recognition and that he becomes more popular. In his college day, he put up one of the most ridiculous stat lines ever produced by any point guard. I really do hope that Norris Cole plays more and becomes a raising star.
There is a lot of talk about who will start for the point guard position for the Heat. Mario Chalmers said that now that Lebron James is gone that he can do more for the team. It's going to be hard for not only Mario Chalmers but for Norris Cole and Shabazz Napier, if they all want to start at the point guard. This is really going to be hard to pick and I'm glad that I'm not going to pick one. I like them all and I will not be upset for whoever they pick to start for the Miami Heat.

Cavaliers Vs. Heat
The Cavaliers went up against the Heat in Brazil! Some people say that the game was suppose to be about Lebron James going up against his former teammates. That was not the case, it was all about Kevin Love who was a scoring machine in that game. I did not get to watch that game but I'm sure that it was a good game. For me, I'm very excited for this year to come and get to see all the new up raising stars.
Throughout the whole game Lebron James only scored seven points for twenty minutes he played. The top score for the Cavaliers was Kevin Love who was on fire. Love scored twenty-seven point in that game and people say that he looked better than ever. His shot was looking better and he was looking more confident in the game. For the Heat the leading scorer was Chris Bosh who had seventeen points through the whole game.
From the highlights that I saw, I thought the game was going to be more tense than it really was. One of the highlights showed Lebron James screening on of his own players, now I don't know if that was a mistake or he just did that, but that to me was funny. I get that it's just a practice games and all but the players should be able to have fun before they get serious. Leading up to this game former teammates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh did not contact Lebron or anything like that.
Lebron James did everything for the Miami Heat, for the past four years that he spent in Long Beach, James took the Heat to four finals and they won two titles. I think that James wants return home or maybe there was a little more to his decision on why he wanted to go back to Cleveland Cavaliers that we don't know. Overall, I think that maybe it was good idea that James left the Heat, maybe Wade and come back stronger this year. I think Wade had relied on James to much and that maybe apart on why James left.
I hope this season that is coming up is going to be a interesting one. I hope there is some excitement in the season and not lame. I really want to see good competition in all the players, I would like to see go to the NBA Finals is that team that has not been recognized. I don't know what team that is but I hope to see one.

Mario Chalmers!! "Rio"
Almario Vernard "Mario" Chalmers was born May 19,1986 in Anchorage, Alaska. His parents are Ronnie and Almarie Chalmers. Mario has an older sister named Roneka who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. Chalmers is the founder of the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation. Chalmers foundation supports athletic and educational programs for children and he also helps fund programs for breast cancer research.
In Chalmers High School days he went to Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska. Chalmers was named the 4A State Player of the Year for his third time in a row. Chalmers also led his school to two state championships in 2002 and 2003, and a runner up in 2004. In College, mario was rated second overall point guard in the 2005 recruiting class. He got four offers before making his choice to go to the University of Kansas on May 21, 2004.
Chalmers started his college career on the bench behind guard Jeff Hawkins for the Kansas Jayhawks. He worked really hard to get to the starting rotation in January 2006. He finished his freshman year averaging 12 points per game, mario became the second freshman in Big 12 history to win the Conference Player of the Week. He was also given the award National Freshman of the Week twice. He also set the Kansas Jayhawks record and Big 12 record for most steals by a freshman with 89 steals. Chalmers won the Big 12 Tournament Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player Award, and Free Throw Percentage Award. Mario Chalmers has got a lot of awards through out his college career.
Chalmers was the 34th overall pick in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft. He was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Later on, Mario was traded to the Miami Heat in 2010-2011, were he would be playing with Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. Lebron James took Mario's number 6 and so mario ended up taking his old number 15 when joining Miami Heat. In the championship game Mario made a half court buzzer beater which would put the Heat up by one. At the end of the game they lost the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks, everyone was shocked that Miami lost because they had the big three. I even thought that there was not going to be a team that was going to stop the Miami Heat but I was wrong. I was always told that you can do anything you set your mind to and that's what the Dallas Mavericks did.
Chalmers is a true role player on the Miami Heat and I hope he stays on the Heat for a long time. Chalmers is the starting point guard for the Miami Heat. I think the back up point guard is Norris Cole but this year, they picked up Shabazz Napier and he might be the new point guard or a back up. I hope that Chalmers stays the the starter point guard but you never know what can happen. Overall, I love watching Chalmers play and all of the Miami Heat players play, for me it's like an adrenaline rush, like I want to play right after watching a game.

Mohawk Anderson!
Christopher Claus Andersen was born July 7, 1978 in Long Beach, California. Andersen is second of three children in his whole family. He grew up in lola, Texas and he played one year at Blinn College in Brenham. Andersen really wanted to follow his dream to play basketball. His varsity coach wanted him to play, so he can get a college scholarship. Andersen started off playing his professional career in the Chinese Basketball Association and the American minor league.
Andersen is 6 foot 10 inches and he weighs in at 245 pounds. You can guess that he is the center for the Miami Heat. Andersen has played for two other teams before going with the Miami Heat. I'm really glad that they signed Chris Andersen to the Heat. I have not started to like Chris Andersen until last year. I have watched him play on different teams but he was not really recognized until this year when he got playing time.
On January 20, 2013, Andersen signed a 10-day contract with the Miami Heat. After that 10-day contract was up, Andersen signed another 10-day contract on January 30, 2013, and then he signed the remainder of the season with the Heat. I don't really know what the signing is like and what you have to do to get on an NBA team. I do imagine that I will be hard for some players to get on an NBA team. Andersen only played forty-two games out of the eighty-two games in the whole season. He was averaging 5 points per game and he was shooting 60% from the field. Since signing Andersen the Miami Heat went on a 27 game winning streak. He has played most of the games in the winning streak.
At age 34, he reached his first NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. Andersen recored three points, four fouls and three blocked in game seven of 2012-2013 NBA Finals. He was shooting 81% from the free throw line which was awesome for a big center. He finished the 2013 NBA playoffs with an NBA playoffs record for highest field goal percentage. I'm truly glad that I got to see and remember watching Andersen play in his first NBA Finals game. I love watching NBA games and especially if they are exciting games.
Andersen is known for all of his tattoos that are all around his body. The tattoos cover about 75% of his whole body, which to me I think is pretty bad. His first ever tattoo was given to him by his mom four his eighteenth birthday. His mom had some experience with using a tattoo maker, and some body work of her own too. Andersen still to this day shows off his tattoos and I'm not really a fan of that.
