Even though Dwayne Wade is back, the Miami Heat still can't get on a winning streak for some weird reason. The last game the Heat played was the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies won by 16 points. The Heat has been on a losing streak, I'm not going to lie, it's starting to scare me. Since the Heat has been on a losing streak, their record went down to 9 wins and 11 losses. I think the Heat need to get their act straight and start working together to get the wins.
I thought that since Wade has been back and even some other players have come back, the Heat would get more wins. This is not the case and I don’t know what is happening to my team. Maybe the Heat just can’t get a win right now, and sometimes that’s just how the ball rolls. I totally understand that sometimes you have good games and sometimes you have bad games. For the Heat it has been a rough couple of games.
I thought that Shabazz Napier would be a more effective substitute for Wade, but that did not happen. I might be wrong, but that’s just my opinion because I thought that he should have been a more effective leader while Wade was out. I do get that Napier is a bench player for now but my expectations were that he was going to be a scoring machine for the Heat but that did not happen. I was a little disappointed about that because I thought that Napier would get a starting position or get more playing time.
On the bright side the Heat is not the worst team in the NBA. If the Heat were the worst team I would not be happy with them. I’m not going to lie; the team was significantly better when LeBron was playing. LeBron made the team a family and I think that since he left, it lacks the ability to work together. LeBron was a key player for the Heat and now that he left there is no one to fill in that gap. Yes, there has been new players added to the Heat, but no one is as good as LeBron.
I can’t just talk about the Heat’s losses because they have been winning as well. The whole roster has been doing their very best but other teams want it more. I have been a fan of the Heat even before LeBron James was ever there. I’m more of a Wade fan than a LeBron fan. Win or lose, I will always be a Miami Heat fan.
